I’m Beth, the photographer behind Dark Cherry Studios, a private boudoir photography studio near Syracuse, NY.

I created this space for women who want more than just beautiful images — they want to feel powerful, confident, and completely at ease in their own skin.

Boudoir, to me, isn’t about performing or becoming someone else.
It’s about slowing down, feeling safe, and allowing yourself to be seen exactly as you are.

Many of the women who step into my studio tell me they’re nervous.
That they’ve never done anything like this before. And every single time, they leave standing taller than when they arrived.

I believe confidence isn’t something you earn after you change your body — it’s something you step into when you stop waiting.

Boudoir is deeply personal. It’s intimate. It can feel vulnerable.
That’s why I’ve intentionally built Dark Cherry Studios to be private, calm, and judgment-free.
From the lighting to the music to the pace of your session, every detail is designed to help you feel comfortable, supported, and guided from start to finish.
